This is a segment from an oral history of Andy Evans conducted in 2012 in Fenwick Library by Misha Griffith and Robert Vay. Evans was the first minority recruiter for George Mason University appointed by Vergil Dykstra from 1974 to 1985. In this segment, he describes his Catholic upbringing, working with President Dykstra, and his role as minority recruiter in the early 1970's.
